Once upon a time, there was a girl who loved Disney and loved reading...so it was her dream come true when a Blogger's tag combined the two! YES, that is right, I am SO excited to be bringing together two of my favouritest ever things into one blog post! This took so much thinking about, because all of these Disney films deserve incredible books to be attached to them! Thank you

So, here comes the magic:
The Little Mermaid: A character who is out of their element: "a fish out of water"
First up, we have Marina from Almost English. A Hungarian girl with a very eccentric family gets tossed into a girls' school with no idea how to fit in - I know better than most what a unique environment an all-girls school can be! A perfect example of someone who struggles to adapt to their surroundings!
Cinderella: A character who goes through a major transformation
Ah Don Tillman, one of my favourite characters! From a socially awkward man who thinks he can develop an algorithm to find his perfect match in 'The Rosie Project'...to, well, still pretty socially awkward, but a Dad! He falls so in love with Rosie and learns so much from her, it is so cute to read about it - a very heart-warming story!
Snow White: A book with an eclectic cast of characters
'Hector and the Search for Happiness' is perfect here because he travels the world, looking for different people who can teach him lessons about how to be happy. From the Chinese cleaner ladies to the tribe-dwelling Africans, everybody has a story to tell, and that's what makes Hector's journey so fabulous!
Sleeping Beauty: A book that put you to sleep.
Let's inject a bit of non-fiction into this mix! It has got to be Revolution, by Russell Brand. I mean - come on! How many times does he want to say the same thing in a slightly different way, using another element of his weird lifestyle to back his point up? What has yoga got to do with politics?!
The Lion King: A character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood.
Awww Owen Meany you poor kid! To accidentally kill your best friend's mum who you are a teeeny bit in love with when you're just a child?! Simba would sympathise!
Beauty and the Beast: A book that you were intimidated by but found the story to be beautiful.
Beauty and the Beast is my ultimate fave - who wouldn't want to be like Belle?! She lives in France, her name means 'beautiful' AND has her own library! What's not to love?! So this book had to be extra special, and 'Two Brothers' is a great choice! This story isn't short, but I found it whilst I was on holiday and looking for something to read, and I couldn't be happier that I picked it up! I could NOT stop recommending this to people, I think Ben Elton should have paid me commission for the amount of copies I sold for him! It is an absolutely phenomenal story, about love and brotherhood, set against the backdrop of Nazi Germany. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone, an absolutely incredible read!
Aladdin: A character who gets their wish granted, for better or for worse.
Charlie is just the cutest! He wants a better life for his parents and grandparents who all share a tiny shack, and with 4 grandparents in one bed, can you blame him?! It makes me so happy that Willy Wonka could grant his wish, and give him the keys to any child's dream!
Mulan: A character who pretends to be something or someone they are not.
Oh my goodness, this book is amazing yet so incredibly sad! I feel it is quite apt though, as both characters enter a warzone by pretending to be someone they are not. I shall say no more as I don't want to spoil the story, but deary me...heart-wrenching!
Toy Story: A book with characters you wish could come to life.

I really wanted to stray away from the generic 'Harry Potter' answer for this question, so have instead gone for the sisters in 'The Secret Life of Bees'. I think they lead such a simple, interesting life with their bees and their faith in Mary, I would love to go and meet them and learn more! :)
Disney Descendants: Your favourite villain or morally ambiguous character.
It took me ages to think of this...but now that I have, it's a cracker! Especially now I found this picture, which highly amused me! I love Daniel Cleaver...I know everyone is supposed to want Bridget Jones to be with Mr Darcy, but come on...how hilarious would a relationship be with Daniel Cleaver?! I'm sure he would just need a bit of taming...and the book would be very dull without him! Even the quiz you can take on the Bridget Jones 2 DVD says that I should be with Daniel Cleaver...and if you don't believe that, what can you believe eh?!
